Renewals - We are currently renewing a large number of Trust Homechoice Applications to make sure the information we hold is correct and up to date. If we place your application under 'Renewal' you will be notified and will be expected to log in to your account and confirm your application is correct.
The Housing Register is a list of people in need of housing in Cheshire West and Chester. Only people who are eligible and not excluded for any reason can register and bid for properties. You can find out more about who can register in the Trust Homechoice Allocations Policy.
Trust Homechoice is a Choice Based Lettings Scheme delivered by Cheshire West and Chester Council in partnership with Chester and District Housing Trust, Plus Dane Housing and Weaver Vale Housing Trust. Housing providers in the Trust Homechoice partnership have properties to rent in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich and Winsford, as well as many rural areas across the area.
Choice based lettings enables people on the Housing Register to express an interest or ‘bid' for properties which are advertised through the scheme. Some homes are ready to rent and available now. If you are interested, the first thing you need to do is register. If you would like to be considered for social housing and you are not registered with Trust Homechoice you can apply here. If you have an active application but you have not been bidding now is a good time to start. The wait for social housing may not be as long as you think.
