You Asked .... We Answered
Will we get told if we are being considered?
If you are being considered for a property the landlord partner will contact you direct. You must always keep your contact details up to date by informing your local housing office of any changes.
We have two boys sharing and one on the list, do we have more priority than new people registering?
It would depend on your housing need. All applications are assessed according to the policy and banding criteria.
Can your website go faster, it is sometimes a bit slow?
The website can be slow at peak times due to the number of people trying to access the page. This is usually on Thursdays when the new advert comes out. You do not have to place your expression of interest on the first day of the advert.
I am using a computer at work and cannot load the available properties, why?
This might be due to restrictions on internet privileges within your organisation or policies set by your organisations firewall.
What happens to unallocated properties?
Sometimes we re-advertise properties or advertise them in our local offices separately.
Why are all the properties allocated to people in Band A?
Properties are allocated across bands A to E. It depends on how popular the property is and how many people express an interest in it.
Why are so few properties advertised each week?
We advertise all our properties every week. Most people who already live in our properties do not wish to move.
Why are most of the properties for older people?
These are the properties which become vacant more often.
How to register?
If you click on the tab ‘How To’ at the top of the page you will see a tab on the menu ‘Apply to Register Online’. This will direct you to the online application form.
Why, when I press the button ‘look for a property’ does it take me to another window?
This is so you can view the available properties whilst still having access to the main website.
